A Year of Collabs at Shade Rayz

This year Shade Rayz had a total of 7 different collaborations with a mix of different companies, organizations, and businesses that all meet the values of Shade Rayz. Shade Rayz is committed to keeping your skin protected while participating in fun outdoor or even indoor activities. Getting the chance to work with other partners to spread the importance of sunscreen is why Shade Rayz loves to partner and be engaged with new audiences. Working alongside each of these collaborators throughout 2025 helped build a community of partners that Shade Rayz is proud to support and grow with. Each and every one of these events brought in new voices and creativity making the collaboration even greater, getting to have a different perspective and ideas from both sides of the collaboration. Getting the chance to have collaborations, gives the chance to work with more like minded people and expand our outreach while building new meaningful connections with a new audience. Both audiences getting to chase their purpose with new people rates these new values with each community. 

Shade Rayz x Vuori 

A day out on the santana row Shade Rayz gathered together with Vuori with rumble instructor Valeria for a body weight HIIT workout. After the workout the guests got a chance to shop at Vuori and get some refreshments as well. 

Shade Rayz x Paragon Body

Shade Rayz and Paragon Body joined together and gave us an event where you got a free hit workout, mimosas, and appetizers. This free experience joined a limited number of people in Saratoga at paragon body for this amazing event.

Shade Rayz x Golden State Valkyries x Chase Bank 

Violet book of business presented by Chase is a program that collaborates with women owned businesses in the bay area and hosts a program that brings them together and gives them the platform to make a visible and positive impact for new entrepreneurs. The Golden State Valkyries and Chase Bank hosted an event in celebration of the violet book of business. Kristan ( Founder of Shade Rayz) was united and celebrated for being one of the 14 women founded businesses to choose for the violet book program. 

Shade Rayz x Trout Farm Inn 

Sunday Funday, Shade Rayz and Trout Farm Inn hosted a poolside event. This event entailed pool side yoga with yoga instructor Robin. After the event guests were allowed to hang out poolside for the rest of the day and got to enjoy a DJ, food, and beverage service. 

Shade Rayz x Relay For Life

Shade Rayz in a collaboration with Relay For Life raised $6,000 for cancer research support in their breast cancer awareness walk in San Jose. Kristan (Founder of Shade Rayz) and her best friend Shelly walked as proud breast cancer survivors to help raise manu to donate to the fight against cancer. They believe in helping create a future where no one has to face cancer alone.

Shade Rayz x AVAC

AVAC and Shade Rayz together hosted a pickle ball breast cancer awareness event called Dink4Pink. Pickle ball was played and participants were able to make their way over to the shade Rayz booth to learn more about sunscreen care and support a great cause.

Shade Rayz x SJSU Girl Gain & SJSU Her Campus 

During breast cancer awareness month Shade Rayz got together with SJSU clubs Girl Gains and Her Campus and hosted a walk for breast cancer awareness. This event was a hot girl walk and an information session on the importance of sunscreen. Kristan (Founder of Shade Rayz) was able to share her story to the girls and let them know why they should always prioritize their sunscreen. 

Shade Rayz is very grateful for our partners from this past year that collaborated with us creating new and creative events that audiences from both sides could enjoy. The trust our partners had in use to help bring to life our amazing ideas gives us the support to keep creating and building together to make our brands great. Coming up this year Shade Rayz plans to have more amazing events and collabs for our buyers and audience.
